知名作家

國立臺灣師範大學國文系國語科、淡江文理學院英文系畢業。曾任小學老師、新聞記者，歷任《國語日報》編輯、編譯主任、出版部經理、社長，2005年自國語日報社董事長一職退休。

曾獲中國語文學會中國語文獎章、聯合國兒童基金會／臺灣省教育廳兒童讀物金書獎、中山文化基金會文藝創作獎、中興文藝獎、信誼幼兒文學獎特別貢獻獎、金鼎獎終身成就獎、全球華文文學星雲獎「特別獎」、國家文藝獎等，並獲頒「景星二等勳章」。主要作品有《動物和我》等。

Liang Lin studied both English and Chinese Languages during his college years. He was a school teacher and a journalist before becoming an editor, publisher, president and eventually chairman of the Mandarin Daily before his retirement.

Lin has received countless awards during his lifetime, many of which are lifetime achievement awards. Lin is the recipient of the President’s Order of Brilliant Star, awarded to individuals in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the nation. One of his most popular books is Animals and I.
