Ya Ping received a Master’s degree in Children’s Literature from National Taitung University. She is currently an author of children’s books, and a school teacher. Ya Ping has dedicated over 10 years of her life in writing fairy tales. She is guarding her passion for writing like a small flame, not a large fire, burning slowly, never to diminish. She wants to bring light, warmth and smiles to the world of children.
Ya Ping’s favorite pastimes are reading, walking, and going to forests, vegetable markets and looking at all kinds of beautiful buildings. She has received many awards including the Chiuko Modern Children’s Literature Award, the Mandarin Daily News Reed Pipe Awards, the Ministry of Education Literature and Arts Creation Awards, the Taichung Literature Award, and First Prize at the National Taitung University Children’s Literature Award.
Yi-ting Lee hails from Kaohsiung, in southern Taiwan, and received a degree in Fine Arts from Tunghai University in Central Taiwan, after which she started her career in illustrations.
Lee now resides in Taipei and devotes her time to drawing and arts and crafts. She hopes to bring her readers warmth through her work. Since nine years ago, she encountered her first cat, and became a cat-lover. Lee is now the proud owner to four felines.
